CRYPTIC CROSSWORDS – ALTERNATE MONDAYS (2024 Term 1,2,3 & 4) Monday 4.00pm – 5.00pm
The aim is for participants to experience the pleasing satisfaction of successfully solving a variety of cryptic puzzles and crosswords and to enjoy the social contact.
IMPROVE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY- 2nd & 4th TUESDAY OF THE MONTH (2024 Term 1,2,3 & 4) 9.30am – 11.30am
Knowing your camera. Getting out of the Automatic mode. Learn about Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO. How to take good photographs and much more.
BASIC PHOTO EDITING – 1st AND 3rd TUESDAY OF THE MONTH (2024 Term 1,2,3 & 4) – Tuesday 9.30am – 11.30am
Basic photo editing using Photoshop elements. Learn how to use the most important tools. Learn the importance of selections and layers. Bring your own laptop.
ART – WEDNESDAYS (2024 Term 1,2,3 & 4) Wednesday 9.00am – 1.30pm
Join us for a day of learning, laughing and productivity. All welcome, no matter what level of experience you have or what medium you would like to use. I can help and encourage you to develop your own style with artistic techniques. We are a cheerful bunch of fellow artists all happy to work side by side and share our Wednesdays.
SINGING FOR FUN – ALTERNATE WEDNESDAYS (2024 Term 1,2,3 & 4) Wednesday 1.30pm
Join a friendly group of people to sing a variety of songs from the genres of Musical Theatre, Pop and Golden Oldies.
LINE DANCING (2024 Term 1,2,3 & 4) Thursday 4.00pm to 5.30pm
A fun time – if you enjoy movement in good company, then this is the group for you.
LUNCH GROUP D – PITTSWORTH (2024 Term 1,2,3 & 4) – 3rd Friday of Each Month 12.00pm
Members meet socially for lunch at a venue designated by the Tutor once a month during term. All members from other U3A courses are most welcome. RSVP the Wednesday before for catering purposes and carpooling arrangements, if necessary, when travelling outside of Pittsworth.
UKULELE (2024 Term 1,2,3 & 4) 9.00am – 10.30am
Ukulele classes for beginners to intermediate. All you need is a ukulele, song sheets provided. A morning of music, fun and great company.
